Chocolate Chip Cookies Recipe

This is titled as "The Best Chocolate Chip Cookies" and when you try them, you'll understand why.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup of regular sugar
  • ¾ cup of dark brown sugar
  • 1 stick of Kerrygold butter at room temperature
  • 1 egg
  • 1 ½ cups of all purpose flour
  • ½ Tsp of baking soda
  • ¼ Tsp of baking powder
  • 1 Tsp of kosher salt
  • 1 ½ cups of Ghirardelli milk chocolate chips
  • ½ cup of Ghirardelli semi sweet chocolate chips
  • Sea Salt (sprinkle topping)

Prep

Preheat the oven to 375°F and prep baking sheet with parchment paper


Instructions

Step 1

Add the sugars, butter, and egg to a bowl and mix well

Step 2

Add the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and kosher salt into a separate bowl and mix

Step 3

Add the dry mix into the wet mix ½ a cup at a time while mixing

Step 4

Add both chocolates into the mixture and mix well

Step 5

Scoop out with large scooper onto baking sheet and bake for 8-10 minutes

Step 6

As soon as they come out of the oven, sprinkle with sea salt
