Honey Butter Croissants Recipe
This recipe is made to replicate Cheddar's Honey Butter Croissants. This recipe also uses Trader Joe's frozen croissants, I'm sure any other is fine (will be trying to see if I stand by this opinion), and serves about 8 people.
Ingredients
- 1 package frozen croissants
- 6 Tbsp butter
- 1 ½ Tbsp honey
Prep
Follow intructions for thawing and proofing frozen croissants. Preheat oven to 350°F
Instructions
Step 1
Put croissants in oven once prep is complete for 15-19 minutes or until they ae fully puffed up and browned.
Step 2
While the croissants are baking, heat the butter and the honey together on the stovetop by placing in a small saucepan on low.
Step 3
Stir the butter and honey as they warm together. When the butter fully melts, turn off the stovetop, but continue to occasionallly stir until spread on top the croissants.
Step 4
Once croissants are done, remove from oven and allow to cool for 2 to 3 minutes.
Step 5
Drizzle the warm honey butter over the warm croissants and enjoy.
