Atole Recipe
Ingredients
- 4 cups water
- 2 cups Adolphus Rice
- 2 sticks of cinnamon
- 1 Tbsp ground cinnamon
- 1 can evaportated milk
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk
Instructions
Step 1
Add the water, rice, cinnamon sticks, and ground cinnamon to a pot and bring to a slow boil over medium heat
Step 2
Once boiling, stir consistently to insure no rice sticks to the bottom of the pot
Step 3
Check if the rice is fully cooked, there should be a small layer of water above the rice
Step 4
Add the evaportated milk and condensed milk, stiring to incorporate into the rice. Reduce the heat to low and leave for 3-5 minutes before eating.
